Lee Controls offers a variety of haft supports and has re-engineered these products to enhance their quality and function ability.
“SR” Type
These new “SR” type support rails have been redesigned while maintaining the critical dimensions and tolerances to be interchangeable. The Lee “SR” now comes with a notch along the bottom of the rail. This simple improvement allows the extrusion to cool more evenly during the extrusion process, therefore providing less warp and twist in the final product. This notch reduces the price of the rail by eliminating the machining of counterbored holes on the bottom. Standard lengths for these rails are 24” and 48”. Available without machining, Pre-Drilled, or drilled to your special requirements.
“SB” Type
“SB” support blocks have been made from ductile iron and cast aluminum for many years. Both of these products are brittle and can break if dropped. LEE LINEAR developed a new line of support blocks made from 1045 steel. These steel blocks are much more malleable than the other materials and offers superior strength at far less cost.
“LSR” Type
The steel “LSR” support rail is a low support rail with a reduced footprint and profile. This is an excellent choice for applications requiring a compact low shaft height support. Available without machining, Pre-Drilled, or Drilled to special requirements. Standard lengths of 48” are stocked. Special lengths can be accommodated.
